The 360 Design Budapest exhibition, organised and implemented by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, won gold in the „Virtual Expo” category and bronze in the „Art Event” category at the 11th Eventex Awards. The event taking place in “phygital” form showcased the world-class work of contemporary Hungarian and regional design brands, both in online and offline spaces. The exhibition excellently illustrated the cultural richness of Central Europe’s design industry.
Each year, the Eventex Awards recognises the companies or agencies delivering unique physical or virtual events, marketing campaigns, technological innovations, creative solutions or services to the events and experiential marketing industry with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in a number of different categories. In addition to industry recognition, the winners also receive a communications support package, helping to promote the selected winning projects to a wider audience.
The 2021 competition received a record number of 561 entries from 37 countries, of which the jury awarded the 360 Design Budapest exhibition, organised and implemented by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, with a gold award in the Virtual Expo category and a bronze award in the Art Event category. The aim of the phygital event, which was held in 2020 in both physical and online spaces, was to give intense visibility to talented Hungarian and regional design brands and designers during a challenging period. The three-day event was a great success attracting 600 on-site visitors and nearly 20,000 visitors online with up to 1,000 people participating in the guided tours in person and online.
