The winna is a multidisciplinary label based in Vienna, Austria. The brand focuses on sustainable upcycled fashion and handmade design objects. In the vision of artist and founder Nina Nemes, winna stands for individualism, inclusivity and innovation. winna’s design ethos revolves around transforming everyday objects with a contemporary twist, ensuring that each piece resonates with modern sensibilities. This is also the motto of the new object series – liquid nostalgia, a multifunctional glass set.
About the artist
Nina Nemes, born in Budapest, currently living in Vienna, is the founder and designer of the brand: winna, launched in 2024. She acquired the academic foundation for her creative work at the University of Applied Arts, TransArts course in Vienna. As an artist with a passion for hybrid solutions, a structured but creative environment is important for her design development. Her practice embodies the combination of creativity and sustainability.With a clear focus on upcycling and craftsmanship, she uses innovative techniques to reinterpret existing materials and transform them into contemporary designs. Nina Nemes had the opportunity to work on an international contemporary art project as part of the Austrian Ministry of Art and Culture’s Startstipendium. She has also participated in the Vienna Business Agency’s Innovative Projects Start-Up Grant and Founders Lab with her innovative upcycled fashion concept. As a multidisciplinary artist, she is drawn to the crossovers in her research and work. winna is a laboratory for exploring the intersections of design, fashion, and contemporary art.

Liquid Nostalgia is a multifunctional glassware set that seamlessly blends functionality with timeless aesthetics. The versatile design transforms from art to utility, reflecting the dynamic nature of the material. Inspired by the fluid transformation of liquid to solid, each piece embodies a sense of fluidity and permanence. An homage to the nostalgic forms and colors of the artist’s hometown, this set comes in four different colors that can be mixed and matched to suit individual preferences.
