Sára Drobíková
Sára Drobíková studied product design at Scholastika and earned her MA at UJEP’s Glass Studio in 2025. Her work explores social themes through a haptic, ritualistic approach, treating materials—especially glass—as active co-creators. Embracing experimentation and unpredictability, she uncovers new forms and meanings. She has worked with matériO Prague and collaborates with TOTEMO on local design projects.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Tennis Chair (2025)
I created the Tennis Chair object to spark a discussion about the life cycle of short-lived objects. What happens to things that only serve us for pleasure for a few hours and then lose their purpose? And why do we make and use them in the first place? Can we transform end-of-life products into meaningful and functional tools? Can we teach or even expect the average citizen to reuse their no longer used items in a creative way?
