MOA Woodman

The MOA Woodman team was brought together by a shared passion for trees. For years, their primary goal has been to preserve Hungary’s ancient trees, which are of historical age and size, giving them an additional hundred years of life. These magnificent, nature-created giants have already lived for 200–300 years in some cases. They collect rare and precious trees that nature has created and, when their time is up, give them a new purpose. Every tree they work with has been felled due to disease, storms, other natural damage, or because the tree posed a danger.

About the objects

The exhibited furniture and creations aim to showcase a simplified, minimalist design, paired with the warmth of solid wood and the natural motifs shaped by nature.

Their coffee table is made from old walnut wood, crafted from a single slab that retains its original form, with a 90-degree bent slab forming the sturdy legs of the furniture, seamlessly continuing the beautiful grain pattern of the wood.

The willow cube seats offer versatile use. Four of them pushed together can serve as a table, while individually, they can be used as seats, side tables, or simply as decorative pieces.
