Debóra Horák is the designer behind the HORA design brand. In her ceramic art she strives to reflect the visual trends of the materia lworld. Concise geometric shapes guide the viewer’s impulses of emotion and transforms them to the sensationof comfort. Debóra’s designs are influenced by industrial buildings, pipes, and factory chimneys, vents. Industrial architecture driven forms, monumental spaces, exciting container systems standing next to each other are among inspiring factors that shape the forms of her products.

About the objects

The HEKLA collection is inspired by the organic shapes and textures found in nature. The design and texture of the lamp are inspired by the intricate yet soft forms of corals and the strong yet refined appearance of volcanic rocks. The colors of the HEKLA BEIGE lamps reflect the delicate, pastel tones of corals, making them easy to integrate into any interior. To highlight the natural textures and colors on the objects, special surface distressing techniques are applied, making each piece unique.
