At GLINO, traditional materials meet modern tools, with digital design and 3D printing used to explore new forms while remaining rooted in simplicity and material honesty. The studio creates thoughtful, well-crafted pieces that are subtle, tactile, and enduring. Each product reflects the belief that good design lives in the details—the curve of a form, the play of light on a surface, and the quiet presence of natural material in a room.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Aleksander Cifer, architect, designer, and founder of GLINO, a ceramic studio in Ljubljana, Slovenia, creates timeless, functional objects for contemporary interiors. His work reflects a deep curiosity for materials, craftsmanship, and technology. Drawn to the textures, weight, and imperfections of natural materials, he transforms clay experiments into a dedicated studio practice that blends architectural thinking with design and making.
