ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Stretch chair (2024)
Although chairs have been made for a long time, it’s still rare to find one that conveys deeper emotions. The pulling forces of today’s world appear in the seat’s surface stretching under weight and the thickening backrest, an ergonomic solution. The legs are solid ash wood; the steam-bent armrest, made of one piece, widens for back support. The shapes are simple for mass production. The structure rethinks the chair’s basic form while keeping it visually.
