ERROR N’ MORE
ERROR N’ MORE ceramics studio was established in Budapest 2014 with the purpose of exploring new opportunities at the frontiers of top gastronomy, art and design. The designer of the brand, Ádám Csaba Szabó in contrast to the classic problem-solving design approach, builds from below. During the creation process he creates the conditions for coincidences and mistakes to occur. Whether we’re talking about the unpredictability of the ancient, high- temperature, wood firing, or expressive trimming, Adam plays, discovers, and connects. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand. Working with the best gastronomy professionals, ERROR N’ MORE seeks new ways, while staying connected to tradition.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
The artworks of the Budapest based, Hungarian ceramic artist/designer, Ádám Csaba Szabó’s (1988) always emphasize the interpretation of errors. The fallacy of memory related to his personal experiences is a very common theme in his art. In the works of the young artist, we can observe the blurring of the boundaries between design and fine art. Unlike the classic problem-solving design approach, Ádám builds from the bottom up. During the creation process, he creates the conditions for coincidences and mistakes to occur. Whether we are talking about the unpredictability of the ancient, high-temperature, wood firing or expressive trimming, Adam plays, discovers, and connects.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECTS
Traces of Extraction (2025)
Scars on the surface, memories in the depths. The scars left on the earth’s body by open-pit mining are not merely imprints of destruction, but enduring witnesses to the perpetual metamorphosis of matter. These ceramic plates evoke the memory of geological strata, conjure the hidden narratives of the earth’s depths, and bring forth the poignant beauty of a wounded landscape. Each piece in the “Traces of Extraction” collection is crafted for professional restaurant use: their durability, functionality, and aesthetics make them a worthy foundation for culinary creations in the finest restaurants. These plates serve not only food, but also stories—carrying the memory of the earth from its depths to the table.
