The team formed primarely from being classmates at Számalk-Szalézi Technical School and Vocational High School. The specialist teacher gave notice of the competition. All of them are fond of creativity and work well in a group setting. They also have multifaceted interests regarding art, for example music and fashion design, which some of them studied before.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT

Solar Hotel

The project’s fantasy name is Solar Hotel, a floor lamp inspired by Art Deco-style architecture, furnishings, and lighting—especially chandeliers. Its structure allows the “floors” to serve as decorative shelves. Patterned plexiglass panels evoke light streaming through hotel windows. The bulb atop the “building” symbolizes the Sun, while a halo crowns the piece, turning it into a skyscraper offering a versatile, mood-adjustable visual experience.
