The brand designs and produces both small-batch home textiles and one-of-a-kind pieces. It creates textiles, in which functionality and aesthetics form a harmonious whole. BERAT believes that a rug, cushion, or blanket is not only practical, but also an experience — bringing joy, playfulness, and warmth into the home.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

At the core of Zsófia Berta Ujváry’s work lies a deep fascination with technology and systems. She is captivated by the logic of woven structures, believing that their clear boundaries offer a sense of security while allowing for nearly endless possibilities of exploration. For her, textile design is a form of construction, where structures, rhythms, and forms are consciously composed into a unified whole. Her architectural mindset and systemic approach are integral to the DNA of the BERAT brand.

Forms kilim rug (2025)

The goal of the Forms rug collection is to translate inspiration drawn from geometric architectural elements into a playful yet refined visual language. Each piece in the collection can be seen as a meeting point between contemporary textile design and architecture: the shapes and patterns subtly reflect the structured beauty of urban spaces, while also bringing warmth and character to interior environments.
