ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Božena Brtko Chandogová, Bratislava-based ceramic artist, holds a BA from the Academy of Fine Arts Bratislava and an MA in ceramics from the National University of Art and Design Dublin (2007). She earned pedagogical certification (2002–2004) and Final State Exam (2016). She worked with artists in Ireland, founded Studio Sihot in 2009, taught IB art (2017–2022), and practiced art therapy. Since 2023, she runs Boba ceramics and teaches at Co.Bra art school.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Boba Ceramics (2023)
The collection explores the relationship between handcrafted ceramics and digitally generated forms, including striking wall tiles and decorative pieces. Made from high-fired coarse clay, the pieces highlight natural, earthy textures. The rough surfaces and organic feel celebrate traditional ceramics while creating a dialogue between the material’s innate qualities and innovative digital design.
