ABOUT THE BRAND
Project Para is a design studio creating sustainable lighting and objects, exploring the space between digital and physical, technology and sensuality. ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT(S)
Endless light 2024
Endless Light is a modular lamp blending form and function, inspired by Brâncuși’s Infinity Column. Made entirely from recycled PET and medical packaging, 160 bottles create the 1.3 m lamp. Its modular design allows multiple configurations as floor, desk, or pendant light. Fully 3D printed with no adhesives or paints, it is sustainable, recyclable, and embodies the continuous potential for transformation.
Fructus Patera 2022
Fructus Patera gracefully revives the ancient ritual of fruit magnification, harking back to the opulent traditions of wealthy Greeks and Romans. This exquisite piece invites us to immerse ourselves in the captivating world of abundance and fertility, where fruits become symbols of vitality and opulence. Fructus Patera serves as a portal to an era when indulging in the beauty of nature was both a ritual and a statement of refinement. Fructuc Patera is 3D printed using recycled plastic filaments.
Deco Lamp 2022
The Déco Lamp, born from an experimental journey, echoes the opulence and glamour of Art Déco. Inspired by the 19th-century French movement, it reflects a time of exuberance, luxury, and belief in progress. Its forms are a fusion of history and modernity. Deco Lamp is 3D printed using recycled plastic filaments sourced from the EU.
Taeda Lamp 2022
Taeda, derived from the Latin word for torch, was historically used to illuminate nighttime events, religious ceremonies, and processions. In Roman tradition, “taeda” was linked to the “nuptial torch,” symbolizing the warmth and light of a couple’s new life together. Geometric, yet sexy, Taeda lights the room softy and sensual through the stripe patterns of its lampshade. Taeda Lamp is 3D printed using recycled plastic filaments sourced from the EU.
