Rozgonyi Atelier

Dr. Péter Rozgonyi comes from a family of artists — his great-grandfather was a master carpenter awarded with a silver wreath, and both his parents were acclaimed silversmiths. Even while studying law, his passion for creating never waned; throughout his academic years, he continued designing, crafting, and deepening his expertise. He completed his carpentry training in 2021. He draws inspiration from the small details of everyday life, the materials he works with, the beauty of nature, or even the melodic flow of a classical composition. His signature style lies in combining natural materials through elegantly curved forms.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT

Opaion (2025)

The Opaion shelf helps “illuminate” spaces with its unique, rare design language and the special objects placed upon it. Its aim is to break everyday monotony and create an inspiring, one-of-a-kind environment. It serves as a “light channel” within the home — a place to showcase our most exceptional belongings. Just like Dr. Péter Rozgonyi’s collection, one of Opaion’s defining features is the set of airy, flowing arcs that allow light to move freely.
