ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Krisztina Vass graduated in 2024 from MOME’s Product Design program. Her work is defined by multifunctionality, classic materials, and conceptual depth. Her Transylvanian roots and respect for craft traditions shape her unique perspective. She creates objects that are not only functional but also evoke emotional and cultural meaning. Her practice explores the balance between applied art and usability with an experimental spirit.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT

SUSLI (2024)

SUSLI is a nostalgic yet contemporary sled: its unique form, metal structure, and classic webbing seat evoke past memories while responding to today’s environmental concerns. It functions both as an indoor object and a fully usable sled. The name comes from the idea of “suddenly sliding” and reflects on the passage of time and the fading value of forgotten objects.
