ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT

UNEARTHED (2025)

The UNEARTHED object family engages with the recontextualization of Gömör ceramics. The concept explores the culture-shaping aspects of raw materials. It offers a critical reflection on folklorism, instead highlighting the structural qualities of local materials as decorative or ornamental elements. The formal language of the objects is grounded in material and technological research, aimed at showcasing the polished structures of local clays used without refinement.
