Bence Váradi
Bence Váradi is a designer who approaches object design with a research-based mindset. His work emphasizes proportion, conscious use of materials, and the narrative role of objects. He is especially interested in concept design and film-related object creation: how does a visual language emerge that fits into a fictional world, and what makes it convincing? He sees prop design as an exciting, underexplored branch of design.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Stratum Cajon (2024)
Stratum is a portable cajón instrument developed during the MOME × Multipraktik university course. It uses the layered structure and natural color palette of plywood as a key visual element. Its flat, lap-held design allows for a comfortable playing position while balancing between musical functionality and sculptural presence. Stratum can be seen both as a playable surface and as a compact, characterful object.
Flō – bar stool (2024)
Flō is an experimental bar stool developed through formal and structural exploration. Its asymmetric design allows for sideways seating, supporting freedom of movement. Functional zones blend organically, making Flō more than a seat-it becomes a meeting point of spatial tension and rhythm. It offers a subtle but playful presence, inviting users to engage with it in a spontaneous, dynamic way.
