ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
SUNSET (2025)
The woven spatial textile reflects on the theme The Rhythm of Nature, evoking the cyclicality and calm of the sunset. In her work inspired by a garden in Ráckeresztúr, Janka Szalay-Bobrovniczky uses undulating color gradients and repeating cord structures to represent the dynamic interplay of light and shadow. The composition’s three sections convey the sensations before, during, and after sunset, serving as a visual imprint of a temporal process.
