Panka Fehervari X Dora Eiler
Panka Fehervari is a Budapest-based designer who explores technologies with a maker mindset, from traditional to innovative. She studied product design engineering, later earning her master’s at MOME after a year of volunteer travel. Her work is grounded in implementation constraints, empathetic user understanding, and material-form milieu. Her work goes beyond traditional ceramics: experimentation, material encounters, and boundary-pushing guide her creations. She continues the dialogue of clay through alternative firing techniques and bold material use.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Urban Fossil (2025)
“Urban Fossil” is a handmade ceramic and industrial metal cylinder, born out of the encounter between nature and the built environment. The two forms can be used separately as a vase or sculpture, but when combined they form a unity. The project is a collaboration between a design artist, Panna Nóra Fehérvári and a ceramic artist, Dóra Eiler, where the dialogue of materials and the play with function give the soul of the object.
