ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Zsuzsanna Éva Deák is the founder of Deák Design. Her works reflect sustainability, material experimentation and craftsmanship. In 2023, her Re-built Glass project was awarded by EDIDA and longlisted at the PULSE Awards.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT

Balaton Collection (2020)

Created in 2020, the Balaton Collection is inspired by the iconic Lake Balaton in Hungary, reflecting its vibrant colors and whimsical waves. Through fusing technology and unique manual forming, each vase embodies an organic form and a distinctive color pattern, featuring turquoise, dark blue, topaz, and orange tones reminiscent of summer moods.
