ABOUT THE DESIGNER
David Salamon is an interdisciplinary designer working at the intersection of art, design and technology. The goal of his collectible design works is to capture the imagination of the beholder – both emotionally and intellectually. As a versatile designer with a background in both art and engineering, he defines design as poetry meeting technology. David earned a BSc in IT at the Budapest University of Technology in and an MA in Design from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Diptych – from the series Fear and Uncertainty (2025)
This limited-edition pair of sculptural wall lights reflects the emotional landscape of the post-pandemic era. Each sconce contrasts light and dark, symbolizing duality and inner tension. Elongated forms and reverent proportions evoke quiet monumentality. 3D-printed from recycled medical packaging, the work transforms traces of crisis into a contemplative, collectible light object.
