ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECT
Contrast Coffee Table (2025)
The Contrast Coffee Table draws inspiration from its former identity as a stool. The original Contrast piece was based on the witch-seeker tradition of Luca’s chair, its triangular composition alludes to the symbol of the witch star. The table reinterprets this concept, deliberately building on the contrasts between traditional and contemporary elements, as well as fostering a dialogue between different phases of the designer’s identity. The focus lies on the time-transcending qualities and their interrelations, highlighted by the table’s shimmering surface and modern form.
