The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) invites applications from Hungarian businesses and manufacturers producing furniture, wood industry and carpentry products, as well as home decor accessories such as lighting, home textiles, and decorative items, to participate in the internationally recognised 360 Design Budapest exhibition. The Red Dot Award-winning event, to be held for the sixth time between 9 and 19 October this year, offers a unique opportunity for domestic manufacturers to showcase their products to industry professionals, market players, and a broad audience at both domestic and regional levels.
Exciting yet easily usable everyday objects can only be created through close collaboration between design and manufacturing. Manufacturers are fundamental shapers of the industry, with their competitive products often targeting millions of users; therefore, their visibility is crucial. Guided by this idea, the HFDA offers domestic manufacturers an exhibition opportunity at Budapest Design Week’s flagship event – Hungary’s largest and most prestigious design event.
The 360 Design Budapest exhibition, showcasing the finest contemporary object culture from Hungary and the region, offers exhibition opportunities not only to manufacturers but also to design brands, applied and fine artists, and product designers. It aims to raise the visibility of Hungarian design, strengthen brands’ competitiveness, and facilitate networking between professionals and enthusiasts.
At last year’s event, more than 100 designers and manufacturers showcased nearly 300 products, drawing an audience of 5,000 visitors. The event also welcomed numerous Hungarian influencers alongside representatives from both the Hungarian and international press. Participation this year can once again successfully boost the profile of manufacturers, who will be able to showcase their products and latest technological developments in approximately 10 sqm customisable exhibition spaces throughout the full 11-day event. Through the exhibition, they can strengthen their long-term professional relationships and broaden their sales opportunities.
