Fehérvári Panna Nóra

A designer based in Budapest who enjoys approaching various technologies with a maker mindset, from traditional to innovative, and exploring how they can best integrate into our lives. She completed her undergraduate studies as a product design engineer and, after a year of volunteer travel, earned her master’s degree in design at MOME. In her designs, she bases her work on three principles: the reality of implementation constraints, the empathetic understanding of user needs, and the creative power of material-form milieu. In her experimental search for a design language, natural and neutral colors, clean shapes, and natural textures increasingly solidify. Her style aims for naturalness and modern elegance.

About the objects

MushLume

MushLume is an ambient light for the home interior that aims to combine the benefits of mass production with the configurability that comes from the uniqueness of handcrafted craftsmanship. Its simple, modern form harominates with the possibility of ceramics, inviting the user to corporeality through the customisability of the internal pattern of the bura and the glaze of the body. In her work, the designer has experimented with diverse applications of ceramic technologies, from casting porcelain mixed with paper to 3D ceramic printing.

NaNu and MiMo collections of serving pieces

The NaNu and MiMo collections of matching serving pieces are built from clean geometric shapes, whose beauty lies in their simplicity, to highlight the food that are placed on them and to fit into any interior or exterior space. The sets are a collaboration with WHY NOT Design LAB. Each piece is meticulously crafted and in harmony with each other, combinable to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
