This year marks the sixth edition of 360 Design Budapest, which not only presents regional design but also offers a comprehensive overview of current trends in Hungarian object culture. The exhibition draws attention not only to the work of designers but also highlights the role of manufacturers. By showcasing their innovations and products, visitors gain insight into how a design travels from the drawing board to the production line. Thanks to this approach, inspiring designer\u2013manufacturer collaborations often begin within the exhibition space. Thus, 360 Design Budapest goes beyond the traditional exhibition format, serving as a unique platform for building and strengthening connections between product designers, manufacturers,<\/a> and the market.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Year after year, Hungarian manufacturers play a defining role at the 360 Design Budapest exhibition. Their presence not only complements aesthetic and design perspectives but also brings visitors closer to the complex process behind the creation of design objects. Their presence highlights the crafts, innovative material solutions, and technological processes that lie behind each piece, offering a new dimension to the understanding of design. This year\u2019s exhibition presents a wide spectrum of domestic players \u2013 from workshops working with organic, handcrafted materials to manufacturers applying advanced materials science research. This diverse portfolio not only showcases the fascinating production processes behind design but also fosters knowledge-sharing and professional connections between designers and manufacturers. The collaborations born here are crucial: they strengthen Hungary\u2019s creative industry ecosystem, enhance economic competitiveness, and contribute to the development of design products with export potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 edition of 360 Design Budapest will feature nine Hungarian manufacturers. Viaplant<\/strong><\/a> integrates nature and material technology, developing composite materials from plant components that provide alternative solutions for interior design and the wider design industry. Sixay Furniture<\/strong><\/a>, with more than two decades of experience, creates timeless, solid wood furniture. Internationally recognised, its models have won multiple design awards in Germany and Hungary. MOA <\/strong><\/a>Woodman<\/a><\/strong> rescues centuries-old native trees marked for felling and transforms them into large-scale interior furniture, while also documenting each tree\u2019s provenance as a key element of its philosophy. With 24 years of professional experience, Mediterr\u00e1n Ker\u00e1mia<\/strong><\/a> has been producing self-developed and handcrafted washbasins under the brand name \u2018LITHA\u2019 since 2018. KRAUSZ High Tech Stone<\/strong><\/a> has dedicated the past decade to developing a unique concrete, engineered in its in-house laboratory with proprietary nanotechnology research, for both architectural and design applications. Hello Wood<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>an architectural and design studio, is known for wooden architectural projects that combine innovation, social responsibility, and sustainability. Its distinctive works are well recognised both in Hungary and internationally. Faktum<\/strong><\/a>, with over 30 years of history, is renowned for its high-quality nursery furniture. The brand has received several international accolades, including the Red Dot and Superbrands awards. Berill \u00c9p\u00fcletker\u00e1mia<\/strong><\/a>, a family business founded in 2001, specialises in frost- and abrasion-resistant architectural ceramics. Quasar, created by Kolos G\u00e1bor Kirner, offers unique glazed ceramic coverings with modular elements that can be rotated to create up to 28 different design variations. Glass-Maker \u00dcvegtechnikai Kft.<\/strong><\/a> has been producing decorative and laboratory products from borosilicate glass for 31 years, using exclusively traditional handcrafting techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

360 Design Budapest aims to provide a platform for dialogue across different professional fields and to foster long-term, value-driven and business collaborations that can further strengthen the competitiveness of Hungary\u2019s creative industries. The presence of manufacturers year after year reaffirms that many of them represent the values of Hungarian design at a high technological level, in a way that is competitive even by international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
