Malwina Konopacka

The OKO Brand / Malwina Konopacka was established in 2014, debuting with the OKO vase design, which was first presented during Designers Week in Tokyo. Over the past nine years, the collection of objects designed by Malwina Konopacka has grown with new forms and several color variants. All these objects exist on the boundary between design and art, serving as both utilitarian and unique sculptures. Prime examples of this fusion can be seen in the OKO / Rocket and TOTEM pieces. Today, Konopacka’s range of objects has expanded to include the OKO / Design line, which features tabletop items such as the UCHO mug, WIT goblet, JULA egg holder, and ANNA candle holder.

Malwina Konopacka is a designer based in Warsaw / Poland. She studied Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and illustration at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. In 2014, she transferred her illustrations onto ceramic objects, creating the first OKO No.1 vase project. Since then, her family of ceramic items, including vases, trays, and plates, has gradually expanded. Konopacka’s ceramic pieces can be found in many private collections as well as in the design collection of the National Museum in Krakow, Poland. Her work is exhibited annually in Poland and abroad. In 2023, Malwina Konopacka designed a new line of OKO / Design objects, which serve as tabletop items. Creating objects such as mug and egg holder is a step towards bridging the gap for those who want to surround themselves with good design every day.
