Malwina Konopacka

OKO consists designs of mainly ceramic pieces created by an artist, designer and illustrator, Malwina Konopacka. All are painted by hand and made, in limited editions, in collaboration with seasoned craftsmen and technologists.

Malwina Konopacka has been proving for years that the ceramic objects she creates do not have to be associated only with functionality. They can be sculptures or painting objects.
Their varied forms and colors use their qualities, complement each other, emphasizing both the delicate line of the object and the intensity of the color used. For Malwina Konopacka, red is one of the colors of the five energies of wisdom theory derived from Tibetan Buddhism. Each energy has its own color that characterizes a set of characteristics. The red color reflects the fiery character, the need for communication, openness to experiment, and is responsible for relationships.
