During his university years, his projects are characterised by an interest in functionality and education, from irrigation design to furniture design and material experiments.
The project aims to contemporarily adapt local craftsmanship, recontextualizing its inherent potential and value for both designers and users. The design approach aligned with the characteristics of the locality is not a recent phenomenon. In architecture, critical regionalism returns to utilize local values, while criticizing the universal nature of modern architecture. As an adaptation of this movement, the bench emerged, seeking to revitalize the furniture typology and highlight the possibilities in processing corn husks.
